Q: Do you have any study guides for anatomy?

Answer: Yes!   We have several things that may help students study for anatomy & physiology classes.

Keep in mind that these are licensed for Ascension WI, and not otherwise free-on-the-internet.
>  The student (or any AW associate) can use OpenAthens for remote access, using their usual Ascension network login.

They should also check to see what their school offers in this area, as they need to support their students.

Covid-19 & The Heart

McGraw Hill introduced a very timely and much-needed resource, available via AccessMedicine:

COVID-19 and the Heart: A Case-Based Pocket Guide

This title is freely available outside of our institutional subscription.

> All visitors can access this resource for free.

COVID-19 and the Heart was developed as a unique and practical means to assist healthcare workers actively engaged in this ongoing pandemic.

  • This book is a user’s manual to guide medical practitioners in making adequate and quick clinical judgements with respect to the cardiac manifestations of COVID-19.

  • The book is divided into chapters based on genuine clinical cases with a proposed approach for each case.
  • Several key points are added at the end of each case, complementing and highlighting the major points throughout the clinical content with the intention of allowing an easier and quicker review.
