Elsevier ClinicalKey and Clinical Skills is Ascension’s new designated point of care (POC) tools. They will officially go live on Sept. 22. However, starting Sept. 9, associates will be able to access the system prior to the official launch. This early access allows nurses and allied health professionals across Ascension to explore the tools and find the most clinically relevant answers through a wide variety of evidence-based content.
Not just for Nursing: Allied health areas such as PT, OT, Speech, Respiratory, Pharmacy, Imaging, Case Management, and more ... can benefit as well. Elsevier offers
- clinical skills procedures
- medication information
- clinical updates
- calculators
- patient education
- books
- journals, and more.
Please note that NRC+ will no longer be available after Sept. 22.
Associates are encouraged to print out any Continuing Education (CE) certificates from NRC+ BEFORE this date to keep for their records. They can access their certificates for earned CEs by visiting ceu.cinahl.com and navigating to their transcript. If they haven't printed CEs before, they may need to create an account to access their transcript.
Transition from NRC Plus to Elsevier for CEUs
Transitioning from NRC+ to Elsevier aligns with our Mission of caring for those in need, especially the most vulnerable, to enhance access to care and unify our resources across the system. This change empowers our clinical community with robust, evidence-based tools and supports our commitment to holistic care.
