Citing Journal Articles from Clinical Key: Use PubMed's Citation Matcher

Question: How do I cite journal articles from ClinicalKey?

Clinical Key does not currently offer a citation utility for it's fulltext content.

Answer:  Use PubMed's Citation Matcher.

Pro Tip: Use the PubMed links on our library pages to tap into our AW Library fulltext.

Look for the Single Citation Matcher at the bottom of the PubMed home page. [Circled in red above.]

In the PubMed Single Citation Matcher, fill in the form.  You do NOT need to fill in every box, just enough for PubMed to find a match.  Then click on Search.

If the citation is indexed in PubMed, you should be able to find a match:

Click on the adjacent Cite button to pull a fully formatted citation for this article:

The citation can be formatted in NLM, AMA, APA, or MLA formats.
The default will be NLM.   Choose the format you want, and then copy the citation into your document.

That's it!
