These days, PubMed makes formatting citations easy.
After you run a search in PubMed, look for the Cite button.
> In the brief summary version, Cite will appear to the left of the citation.
> In the full citation view, Cite will appear on the right side of the page.
Clicking Cite for a respective PubMed citation, pops up a window with the fully formatted citation where you can do any of the following:
- Copy and paste the citation into an email or document.
- Download the citation into formal bibliography / software.
- Reformat the citation according to AMA, APA, MLA, and NLM formats.
