Updates to the Clinical Key Interface

Clinical Key is excited to announce that beginning on August 4, 2021 a series 
of new enhancements will be available in ClinicalKey allowing us to better serve 
both point-of-care and deep reference information needs in the same platform. 
Driven by customer feedback, we are including additional Clinical Overviews 
and new features that will enable you to find the most current 
evidence-based information even faster.

Notable enhancements include:

Redesigned homepage
  • A new search bar has been installed with improved auto-suggest, 
  • delivering more relevant results.

  • The updated homepage makes it easier to find what you are looking for. 
  • The cards displayed in the screenshot below enable faster access to information 
  • while increasing the visibility of the various content types 
  • so you can browse more quickly for specific 
    • clinical topics, drug information, tools, books, and journals. 
  • These descriptive browse cards allow you to jump right into the content 
  • you’re looking for without extra clicks.

Search results

  • New search interface matches the clinical workflow so clinicians can spend less time searching for answers and more time where it matters. Results are sorted by clinical relevance and links to steps in the clinical flow (such as workup, treatment, and diagnosis) are color-coded, making information easy to scan and highly accessible.

Toggle views

  • Users will have the ability to toggle between the classic view and the new interface.
  •  Users can select their default view to enable them to become accustomed to the view when it is convenient to them.

There will also be notification messaging within the product designed to help your users navigate these new enhancements once launched.
