Q: Where Do I Find the Evidence-Based Practice and Research Filters in the NEW CinahlFT?

The Cumulative Index to Nursing and Allied Health Literature (CINAHL) offers filters for evidence-based practice and research, among others.   They are a little tricky to find in the new EbscoHost interface.

>  Run your search as usual in basic or advanced mode, as preferred.

> When you are ready to apply additional limits (beyond fulltext or peer reviewed), click on Advanced Search [highlighted in yellow above.]

> Under the Filters Tab, you'll see additional limits and filters to hone your search results.  

The most common filters appear at the top.  The most often used fillters are Evidence-based Practice, Research, Inpatient, English language.  But the list is quite long, and may be worth exploring beyond the snippet below.  

Note: We recommend NOT using the fulltext limit because it limits only to the fulltext available in the Cinahl database, and would miss all the other fulltext we offer.
