Last week, in response to CDC removing critical scientific research, ACOG President Stella Dantas, MD, FACOG, and ACOG CEO Sandra E. Brooks, MD, MBA, FACOG, released a statement calling for uncensored access to scientific research and clinical data. In the statement, they wrote that “removing or limiting access to data and information does not constitute good health policy or contribute to improved health outcomes.”
ACOG has also taken steps to ensure that access to these critical resources is restoredfor all health care professionals, scientists, and researchers. Along withother ACOG-endorsed guidance documents, the following resources are now availableon the ACOG website:
- Recommended Adult Immunization Schedule for ages 19 years or older (2025)
- Recommended Child and Adolescent Immunization Schedule for ages 18 years or younger (2025)
- Sexually Transmitted Infections Treatment Guidelines, 2021
- U.S. Medical Eligibility Criteria for Contraceptive Use, 2024
- U.S. Selected Practice Recommendations for Contraceptive Use, 2024
