We wanted to give you a tour of Library Services.

  • Find our contact info under the Contact Your Librarians tab.
  • If you use the PubMed links on our library pages, it will tap into our full-text offerings.  
  • Get Articles! If you can’t get to a full-text article, send me or Kellee the citations and we’ll get them for you.  We have connections all the way up to the National Library of Medicine, and it won’t cost you a thing.  Feel free to email citations to us, or use our Request Forms.
  • Expert Literature Searches.  We are also available to search the databases on your behalf, if you don't have time or are not comfortable searching them yourself.  Just tell us what you're looking for and we'll return relevant search results with links to fulltext articles whenever possible.  Request Forms

We offer a New Issue Alerts / eTOC current awareness service so you can keep up with your favorite professional journals.  Just let me know what titles you’re interested in.  For each new issue, you’ll get an email with links to the current full-text articles.  

Nursing Reference Center Plus is a nursing point-of-care tool for nurses.  It includes

NRC Plus is considered an excellent source-of-truth for current nursing skills & procedures.  After your local policies, NRC Plus should be the go-to reference that will help you provide consistent and highly reliable care across Ascension nation-wide.  

Icons / Links for NRC Plus should be on all AW desktops, and linked within the EHRs as well.

DynaMed is a physician point-of-care reference tool offering answers to clinical questions.  Content is written by a team of physicians and researchers who synthesize the evidence and provide objective analysis.  It offers clinically organized summaries for more than 3,200 topics.   Also includes drug info.   See also: The DynaMed Search Tips page.
